This big update is packed with several new tools and capabilities catering to multiple types of users and stakeholders. Here's a quick run-down:
New Tools
- Strategy Aspiration Tool - This tool, co-developed with Trigate Strategy Coaching, provides a guided evaluation of the changes happening in your environment, their implications for your product or business, and helps you develop a "Statement of Strategic Intent" which clearly describes what your strategic aspiration in and why. A clear objective is an essential foundation for developing a strategy.
- Strategy Builder Tool - A strategy is a set of choices and actions to achieve an objective. This tool, also co-developed with Trigate Strategy Coaching, helps you quickly explore and evaluate multiple high-level strategy options and the driving beliefs or assumptions behind them. It coaches you to explore diverse strategy hypotheses, choose the most promising option, and develop a plan to test the critical assumptions it's based on.
- Problem Discovery Tool - This flexible tool allows you to create or customize predefined scripts for customer interviews to discover their unmet needs or Jobs to be Done (JTBD). These insights can be used to validate the core need or problem you want to solve as part of your value proposition and collect valuable input for defining the market requirements for your solution.
- Market Requirements Tool - This tool helps you define the unmet needs and Jobs to be Done (JTBD) for your target market segments and translate them into requirements to be used as a basis for competitive analysis and the definition of your product solution.
Ease of Use Improvement & Features
In addition to all of the new tools, we've been busy refining and adding improvements to help make the Growth Forge Software easier to use, especially for first-time users. Here are some of the changes and additions in this update:
- Onboarding Videos - For new users or users who may not have used certain tools in a while, we've started building a library of short overview videos and playlists to show how to navigate and access key features quickly. We will add more videos with quick overviews of all available tools and "How To" videos for common or more sophisticated strategy modeling tasks. - New Project Home Page - The Project Home page, your primary interface for working with a Project, has been revamped to visually represent the iterative innovation methodology steps and applicable strategy modeling tools in sequence. There is a switch to toggle back to the old view if preferred, but we think you will like the new functionality and look.
- Getting Started Wizard - There's also a new Getting Started Wizard that will help you quickly define some of the basics of your strategy hypothesis model.
- AI Assistant Feature - Several Tools have been updated to include an AI Assistant feature that allows users to use an AI chatbot to streamline key tasks. This is just the beginning. There are some much more advanced AI-enabled capabilities under development. Stay tuned!
- Discord Community - There's now a Growth Forge Community forum on Discord where users can share best practices and get help from each other and BRI Associates. For Affiliate Partners
As we continue expanding our network of Growth Forge Affiliates and partners, we've added features to support their unique requirements.
- Workshop User Accounts & Admin - for partners who use the Growth Forge software or specific tools within their consulting practices, there's a new administrative console for them to provide and manage temporary Growth Forge user accounts for the duration of a workshop or engagement.
